Nuclear Fission

Today ı will talk about nuclear fission. Honestly, some people hate physics, long story short ten out of a  hundered people loves physics including me. This is my perspective. Anyway, before we talk about nuclear fusion, we had better know what fission is. ıf we want to initiate a nuclear fission reaction, we need uranium 235 or ıf ı am not mistaken we need pulitonium 239, but ı will talk about uranium 235.

An image about nuclear fission

when we look this image,we see that they use uranium 235 isotope because uranium 235 is in a unstable sate, that's why we have to use uranium 235 so as to occur a nuclear reaction. To be honest we use this reaction in our ordinary life such as nuclear power plant, but humanity use this reaction so as to make atomic bomb unfortunately and Japan became the victim of this reactin at the end of the world war 2. Anyway, let's continue our topic. ıf we bombard uranium 235 with neutrons, we may occur uranium 236 and this atom is unstable sate. The energy accumulated in the atom is suddenly released and at the end of this, Kr89 and Ba 144 occured due to this reaction. There is more than that. After this reaction, new neutrons occurd and this the beginning of a chain reaction.

honestly, there are no limits about this reaction. I think, ı explained this topic easily. It might me complex to go deeper on this subject. Anyway, ı am going to talk about fusion in the next article, that's why we needed to learn this...

 The words ı use...
-unstable state: kararsız hal
-ten out of a hundered people: yüz kişiden onu...
-complex: karmaşık
-there is more than that: bundan daha fazlası var
-victim: kurban
-chain reactin: zincirleme reaksiyon
-accumulated: birikmiş
-isotope: izotop
-initiate: başlatmak
